A DC/DC converter is an essential component in any new energy vehicle.
In new energy vehicles, since traditional low-voltage generator assemblies cannot function properly, a DC/DC converter must be installed. This converter draws power from the vehicle's main battery pack to charge the onboard 12V or 28V low-voltage battery and provides all low-voltage power supply for the entire vehicle.
CDU stands for Conversion & Distribution Unit, referring to an integrated high-voltage “electrical control” system that combines functions such as the DC/DC converter, onboard charger, and high-voltage junction box.
